Real time measurement and analysis of SNCR system for 48 hrs and fine tuning of the spray location and Firing location. Alternative fuel utilization in both firing system and redesign of Calciner with TAD for the Fuel adhering to low NOx generation and capacity increase form the integral Part of the Study and report.

Selective Non-Catalytic Reaction (SNCR) System:

BQB Infra Technorium Pvt Ltd. expert in emission reduction knowledge, product and services. BQB offers complete SNCR system for both new and existing cement plant installation.

It suffices to state that aqueous ammonia (NH3) is injected at a specific point in the process characterized by a suitable temperature window between 850 and 1050 °C depending on residence time, turbulence, oxygen content, and a number of other factors specific to the given gas stream.

In a selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) process of nitrogen oxides, reductants in an aqueous solution (ammonia water, urea) or in gaseous form (ammonia) are injected into hot flue gases. Following the overall post-combustion reactions for molecular nitrogen, water and carbon dioxide are formed. The optimum temperature range, where a noticeable NOx reduction is achieved >800 mg/Nm3, is between 850 °C and 1050 °C, depending on the composition of the flue gas. Above this temperature range ammonia is oxidised to an increasing extent, i.e. nitrogen oxides are formed.

Urea      NH2CONH2 + 2 NO + ½ O = 2 N2 + CO2 + 2 H2O

Or for

Ammonia      4 NH3 + 4 NO + O2 = 4 N2 + 6 H2O

At lower temperatures the reaction rate is slowed down, causing an ammonia slip which may result in the formation of ammonia salts in the further flue gas path and may lead to secondary problems. Therefore, the ammonia slip should be kept on a minimum.

Volume (Steam + CO2 from extra coal) will affect the production negatively. BQB, having one of the best pyro process know how, possess a unique solution to recoup this loss due to ammonia injection at a nominal cost.

After successful trial run, BQB compiles all the finding observed/collected/measured during the trial run and submit a report. This report serves you as a road map for installing a complete SNCR system and give you a very fair idea about optimized process parameter, economical viability, ROI, risk factor and quality.

Reduced CO2 emissions and zero waste! Possible Incineration of 100% waste both raw and Prepared can replace Fossil Fuel. Therefore engineering applied to enable the Thermal Process to utilize the waste as alternate fuel like Refuse derived fuel (RDF) from MSW, tire-derived fuel (TDF), meat and bone meal (MBM), waste wood, sewage sludge, paper and plastics , waste from paint plants, heavy metals etc. Strongly advised to redesign Calciner for complete and better combustion of fuel.

We are active in this section of Alternate fuels utilization in the Process with end to end scope (EPC).



Our expertise lies in the area of designing the waste heat recovery system with maximum utilization of heat waste heat of the Pyro Process without negatively effecting the system. The cooler null point is evaluated by actual measurement after which the section is marked in the cooler body to create a new tapping point for the extra air to be removed from the cooler (approx. temperature 450ºC@0.5 Nm3/kg.Cl.)

Following are the detailed out Activities for Pyro section:

  1. Reduction of ΔP across cyclones (Ultra LP cyclone and Double Dip Tube Cyclones are installed)
  2. Enhancing ΔT across riser duct (better material distribution and heat Transfer.)
  3. Enhancing the productivity by increasing the volume handling capacity of cyclones (Any normal cyclones can be converted to Ultra LP cyclone or Double Dip Tube cyclone for Improved cut size.)
  4. Reduction of fuel consumption.
  5. Redesign of calciner for better burning of fuel, and enhancing the resident time. Also our designed calciner takes care of NOx emission (BQB-LOW NOx Pre-CAL.).
  6. Reduction of power consumption at PH ID fan.
Upgrade from 2200 TPD to 5000 TPD

From Mill Audit to Upgradation of Mill circuit with close circuiting to Capacity increase with Pre -grinder and Flash dryer wherever required.
